Hey, my name is Zoe...
Welcome to my little corner of the internet, the place where I’m supposed to tell you I picked up a camera at age two and instantly became a prodigy!
It's a cute story, but not quite true.
What is true is that I’ve basically been the unofficial photographer of every friend group I’ve ever been in. If something was happening, best believe I was already there with a camera before anyone even asked.
I’ve always loved catching the moments people forget about, the tiny ones that slip through the cracks but mean everything later.
The belly laughs, the teary smiles, the “oh my gosh, do NOT post that” moments, the crackers for the obligatory birthday montages on social media. Somewhere along the way, I realised I didn’t just want to do this for my friends.
I wanted to help other people hold onto their big milestones, their memories and the little in‑between bits that make life feel like… well, life.
So now I get to be the best friend with a camera on your wedding day, the one who hypes you up, fixes your veil, hands you a snack and water, will arrange code words for when you and your partner need a breather and quietly capture the moments you’ll treasure forever.
I like to think of myself as an introverted extrovert on a wedding day, the kind of person who’s fully present, quietly tuned in, and ready to jump in whenever you need me. My whole mission is to make you feel comfortable enough to say, “Hey, this isn’t working,” or “Can we try it this way?” or even just chat to me like we’ve known each other for years.
I’m the calm voice when things get a bit hectic, and the loud one when it’s time to wrangle 47 relatives for that big family photo. I’ll offer advice, help where I can, talk through timelines, recommend brilliant suppliers, and throw in suggestions, never pushy and always with your best interests at heart.
And because emails can feel a bit stiff and impersonal, I actively encourage a WhatsApp group with my couples. It keeps things relaxed, easy, and honestly… it just feels like chatting to a friend.
So, a little about me that isn’t camera‑in‑hand related.
I’ve officially hit the big 4‑0, I’m married and we have two girls who keep life loud, funny, and wonderfully unpredictable. We’re a military family (my husband is in the Navy) and it’s something we’re incredibly proud to be part of.
As a family, we’re all a bit photo‑obsessed. My eldest and my husband are mountain‑bike fanatics, always off chasing trails, while my youngest… well, she’s in her own magical universe most of the time. She dances, she sings, she twirls basically, she’s the boss kid of Fairy Land.
We’re big lovers of music, Asian food (my husband is an unreal cook), and travelling, although we definitely don’t do enough of it. Give us a day out exploring somewhere new and we’re happy. And when we’re not off adventuring, we love nothing more than spending time with our family and friends!
Oh and side note photo related, I also volunteer for English Heritage as a photographer, this includes photographing sites, events and everything else inbetween.
